Eva’s mother, Dr. Krantz is a clinical psychologist and dance therapist in private practice in San Francisco. She is on the faculty at the California Institute of Integral Studies and on the medical staff of UC San Francisco.   She recently completed service on the Board of Presidio Hill School and is the Chair of the Eva Foundation’s Grants Committee.

Following a career in small business management, Mr. Gunther, Eva’s father, is the Managing Director of the Eva Foundation, Board Chair of Equal Access International, a non-profit organization in the field of international development, Building Chair at Congregation Beth Sholom, and on the Advisory Board of Rhythm and Motion in San Francisco.

Susan Andrews

Ms. Andrews, who was director of San Francisco’s Presidio Hill School for 16 years, is Head of School at Oak Hill School and the VP of her family business, Buddy Rhodes Concrete Products.

Alissa Bernstein

Eva’s best friend, Ms. Bernstein is a Ph.D. candidate in Anthropology at the University of California, Berkeley.

Charlotte E. Burchard

Ms. Burchard, an educational and organizational consultant,  spent 13 years as director of the Pacific Primary School,  and most recently was Executive Director of Friends of the Children, San Francisco.

Phyllis Cook

Ms. Cook recently retired after 25 years as Executive Director of The Jewish Community Endowment Fund in San Francisco, and is the principal of PLC Philanthropic Services.

Nancy Rubin

Ms. Rubin recently retired as CEO of the Edgewood Center in San Francisco and is the past director of Marin County’s Health and Human Services department. She serves on the Advisory Board and teaches for Rhythm and Motion in San Francisco.
